Nov. 30, 1912 – Mar. 7, 2006 An icon for photojournalism, Gordon Parks, died today at the age of 93. One of the original LIFE magazine photographers Parks was as eloquent in his photos as he was in speaking about them from the videos I’ve seen of him.

Honokaa High School is interesting in that it has a music program but no traditional orchestra like many other schools.
