You need to set the SD card to boot MagicLantern via MacBoot or the Windows option in their instructions. If the camera is unresponsive take the battery out immediately as you can cause thermal damage if it&#039;s locked-up in some mode.

If you put a normal SD card into the camera that doesn&#039;t have ML on it and it hasn&#039;t been prepared for the boot-load the camera should start-up normally.</description>
